Ultimate64 Manager v0.5.0 - PC | A new version of Ultimate 64 Manager is now available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Ultimate 64 Manager is a desktop application for managing Ultimate devices, browsing files and disk images, launching games and music, controlling drives, using Assembly64, and streaming VIC-II video to a computer.
The main addition is the new Game Mode, which can scan game collections stored on the Ultimate device or a local disk. It supports common collection layouts, including OneLoad64, and can display box art and screenshots. It also provides A–Z navigation, keyboard controls, full-screen mode, caching, and automatic uploading of local games before launch.
Video streaming now uses GPU rendering with pixel-perfect integer scaling and optional CRT, scanline, and glow effects. Playback has also been improved with stricter VSync, a larger UDP buffer, media-player controls, and an on-screen PETSCII keyboard.
