The Next Level | The VIC-20 demo The Next Level by PWP won second place in the oldskool demo category on Assembly 2008. The demo can be run on a real VIC-20 or in the VICE emulator. (disk-drive, no expansion). PWP (Pers' Wastaiset Produktiot) is a Finnish demogroup founded in 1994. PWP is known for their story line based demos. C64 Intros | The C64intros web page added another 100 new intros to the database. This brings the total up to almost 3200 intros. The intros are from more than 900 different groups. From the group Brutal there are 31 new intros added. If you have any intros that are not on the web page please send them in to the people from this web page. XeO3 Demo | You can download and play the first level of XeO3 on your Plus/4. You will have to fight with hordes of baddies in order to clean up the scene, collect coins to keep your weapon up, and reach the end of the level. WE ARE FAMILY - The 2nd Coming | There is a new DVD available for C16 and Plus/4 fans. It contains 10 demos and 92 photos. The total time is about 2 hours long and will show the following: 8 Shades of Black, Notizen aus de provinz, Adventures in mono, Zenith of Puberty, Oldschool, Halassa, Crackers demo 4, Shade, Monopsy and Threeve. You can download the complete DVD from the web page. 407566 | Andreas Gustafsson's made a one-file demo to celebrate that he has had his C64 (with serial number 407566) for 20 years! You can download the demo from his web page. Supernatural | AmN of Resource released a very nice picture called Supernatural. AmN has made many pictures for the Commodore C64. You can take a look at his art on the CSDb. Asinus Perplexus | Oxyron released a demo for the C64 DTV. You can watch it on Youtube. Or if you want to run it on a C64 DTV or with VICE Plus you can go to CSDb to get the file. Oxyron Party, results and pictures | The second Oxyron party in Flensburg Germany was a big success. This compo is for Demo, GFX and Music made on a 8-bit machine like the C64 and the Atari 800XL, 16/32 bit machines like the Amiga or Atari ST and even the PC. The 8-bit demo was won by Streettuff/Benson/Peiselulli with the DTV demo 2008 a DTV Oddysey, second were degauss/tek with the Plus/4 demo Haziasan and third was Bauknecht with the Plus/4 demo Threeve. This time The Force and Legacy are main groups that were updated, but of course there are a lot more. And keep sending more intros to make the web page even more complete. Saehn has made many pictures for the Commodore C64. You can take a look at his art on the CSDb. ADA update | Last couple of months there were many demos added to the archive. On this site, you will find some of the best demos and intros ever released on the fabulous Amiga computer. All the demos listed, are of high quality. Sweet Chili O'Mine | Duce of Extend released a very nice picture called Sweet Chili O'Mine. Duce has made many pictures for the Commodore C64. You can take a look at his art on the CSDb. C64 DTV - demo | Andreas Gustafsson (SDW) made a great C64 DTV demo. Uncharted Territory even won the mixed platform demo competition at BFP2007! The demo can be downloaded from his web site. For the people who do not have a modded C64 DTV you can watch the demo on YouTube. Shade | This demo for the Plus/4 won the demo competition at Arok 9. The demo was made by Larry, Chronos and Gaia from the group Wilds. M.O.N.E.Y. | The music group Comtron released their latest tune. The animated video was made by Sander of the C64 demo group Focus. The theme of the video clip is the computer and the colors that are used are from the color pallet of the Commodore C64. You can watch the video on YouTube. DTV - demo | TRSi made a demo for the C64 DTV. If you have a hacked DTV you can enjoy this great demo. If you don't have one you can watch the movie (avi). Cracktros | There is a new web page about AMIGA Crack intros. Here you'll find the ultimate collection of AMIGA Cracktros and Trainers. A cracktro, also known as a crack intro, loader, or just intro, is a small introduction sequence added to cracked software, designed to inform the user which cracking crew or individual cracker was responsible for removing the software's copy prevention and distributing the crack. Krestage 3 | Roland Tögel in the scene better know as Crossbow made another demo. For people who know a bit about sprites will say that sprites are only 24 pixels wide and you can expand them to 48 pixels. But Crossbow is now displaying sprites that are 50 pixels wide. Another fact is that you can only display 8 sprites on 1 line. Well that is not true anymore either. In the bottom of the border there are 9 sprites on one line. And also a fantastic picture scrolling from left to right. And did he also fix the 3 column bug along the way? Industrial Revolution | Industrial Revolution is a demo made for the Commodore C64. The code and graphics are made by AEG and SoNiC made the music. The demo reached the 3rd place at the Breakpoint #7 party. Zenith Of Puberty | This is a great demo and won the first price at the 15 Years Oxyron Party. The really nice part is that this demo runs on the Plus/4. The maker of this demo is Ingo (Dr. Death) from The Electronic Knights (TEK). ADA | The ADA (Amiga Demo scene Archive) has added 6 more demos this year to its database. On this site, you will find some of the best demos and intros ever released on the fabulous Amiga computer. All the demos listed here, are of high quality. T-rex - Plus/4 demo | Four demos with digital music from the band T-rex. István (aka Hifi) made the tracks. T-Rex 2007 (1), T-Rex Telegram Sam (2), T-Rex Slider (3) und T-rex Revolution (4). Daydreamer | Jailbird of Booze Design released a very nice picture called Daydreamer. Jailbird has made many pictures for the Commodore C64. You can take a look at his art on the CSDb. Plus/4 demo - Oldschool | The Assassins released a brand new demo for the Plus/4. This shows again that the 264 can do a real demo too. It's a 12 part demo with graphics by Luca, Code by Skoro. Also Harry, KiCHY and RRR put in a bit of graphics. If you want to listen to the music you will have to install a SID card. C64 Intros | The web site intros.c64.org strikes back with another major update - 100 new intros for yours pleasure. This update contains intros from various groups, requested intros from Myth and Scorn and fixed the Mayhem group. Let's Scroll it! | The web site C64.com released a new demo. This is a tribute to the scroll text. Design / programming by: Morpheus, The Electric Co, HCL. Graphics by: The Hobbit, Morpheus, Redstar, The Sarge, Viny. Music by: Chapelier, Drax, Hein, Jeroen Tel. The scrollers are filled by more than 70 people. The demo can be downloaded at the web site. XeO3 / Xenon Trioxide | Mike Dailly and Luca Carrafiello are working on the ultimate shoot'em'up game running on the glorious Commodore Plus/4. They have made a teaser that you can download. Making a game on a Plus/4 has limitation, there are no hardware sprites like on the C64 and the Amiga's. You can read all about the game on the web site. 8 Shades of Black | This is a collaboration trackmo, works on a C=16. It won the 8bit demo competition at Árok Party 8.
