VICE PSP v2.2.21 | Akop Karapetyan released the VICE emulator for the Sony PlayStation Portable. A virtual keyboard is included in this version of VICE. The emulator and the source code can be downloaded from Akop's web page. GenesisPlus - AmigaOS 4 | GenesisPlus is very compatible and accurate Sega Genesis/MegaDrive emulator. Thanks to the emulator, the Sega consoles only games like Ristar, Sonic The Hedgehog, Streets of Rage can be played on the Amiga. The emulator features full-screen support, Amiga Joystick recognition, automatic recognition of cartridge type, automatic decompression of zip compressed cartridges, turbo mode and save states support. C64 Forever | Cloanto has released a new package called C64 Forever. Many people will know Cloanto from the Amiga Forever series, and now they have made the step towards the Commodore 8-bit machines. In version 3.7 the following is changed: The cursor up / left are now emulated with SHIFT down / right. Number of joystick is now 16 and auto fire can be switched off. Yape 0.82 | A new version of YAPE is available. In this release a couple of bug fixed and performance improvement. The changes are: Emulator optimization (up to 30% speed increase). The Plus/4 emulator can be downloaded from Attila's web page. Emu64 - v4.10 | Thorsten Kattanek released a new version of his Emu64 emulator. Emu64 is a Commodore 64 emulator for Windows. This emulators emulates the C64, 1541-II and the 1530. Besides the emulator there are also many tools included: Quick Freeze, SID dump, Debugger, 2 pass Cross assembler, SID player and LAN64. With LAN64 you can transfer data from your PC to your C64 with a special cable. Emu64 is freeware and is available for Windows 2000, XP and Vista. VirtualC64 | VirtualC64 is a C64 emulator for a Mac with OSX 10.5. This emulator is an open source project and it's written in C++. You can download the emulator but you have to provide the ROMs yourself. SMSPlus | SMSPlus is a Sega Master System (SMS) and Game Gear (GG) emulator for Amiga OS4. The SMS is a 8-bit game console developed by Sega in 1986. The GG is a portable hand-held console developed by Sega in 1990. This emulator supports all the hardware features of the consoles, all the video modes, the sound generator and has save states support. AmigaSYS 4 - Xbox version | AmigaSYS 4 is now available for the Xbox. The AmigaSYS is a fully pre-configured AmigaOS system. To install, you'll need an original AmigaOS CD. The AmigaSYS pack contains every important program, which could be required by the user. For KEGS you need Amiga OS 4.x and the ROM images from an Apple IIgs. VICE v2.1 | A new version of VICE, the Commodore 8-bit emulator, is available. The most important change is that now the C64 DTV is supported.

Hyper64 | Hyper64 is an experimental C64 emulator. This emulator doesn't change the 6510 machine code into bits of code that are handled by the CPU of a modern PC. Instead it disassembles, analyzes and re-assembles the 6510 machine code as native 32-bit x86 code. For example the A, X and Y registers of the 6510 are mapped to the x86 AL, BL and CL registers. This makes it a very fast emulator but the side-effect is that it is not cycle exact. You can download this emulator from the web page of micro64. Atari++ (AmigaOS 4) | Atari++ is an emulator of the Atari 8 bit computers and the Atari 5200 game console. The 8 bit Atari computers were developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The emulator does precise cycle emulation, precise sound emulation, emulation of wide range of disk interfaces and joysticks. The Atari++ emulator can be used with AmigaOS 4. DGen 1.24 for AmigaOS 4 | DGen is an emulator of the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive consoles. The Genesis/MegaDrive had a 68000 processor at 7.6 MHz and was direct competitor of the Amiga. XRoar (Amiga) | XRoar is an emulator for the Dragon and Tandy computers. The emulator can be used with Amiga OS 4.0, Linux, Mac OS X, Windows, Nintendo DS and the GP32. The Dragon and Tandy are 8-bit computers based on the 6809 CPU. They were produced in the early 80's. plus4emu 1.2.9 | Istvan Varga made more improvements to his Plus/4 emulator (Linux, MacOS and Windows). Added MPS-801 printer emulation. More accurate PAL emulation in OpenGL mode. LED display for drive emulation. ROM images are now included. There are several bugs fixed. You can download the emulator from Istvan's web page. plus4emu 1.2.8 | Istvan Varga released a couple of updates last month for his Plus/4 emulator. The plus4emu is an open source emulator of the C16, C116, and Plus/4. The program is written in C++, and supporting Windows, Linux, and MacOS X. A few of the changes are: Fixed file overwrite bug. New option for saving the printer output to a text file. New set of Windows icons (by SVS). WinUAE 1.5.1 | The popular Amiga emulator for Windows has had a major bug fix update. Besides bug fixes there are also a couple of improvement. Added support for Direct3D pixel shader filters. Window resize enabled in windowed mode (chipset mode). It can be used on many platforms.
