Martin Piper - MegaWang 2000 Turbo Edition | Martin Piper is working on hardware to improve the audio and video of the Commodore C64 computer. At the moment the video resolution is 1024 x 1024 pixels with RGB, and the hardware is designed with IC's from the 80's.

THEA1200 | Retro-Games has announced THEA1200, and it will be available for pre-order in November. The features are: Working full-size keyboard, 25 games, USB joystick / mouse, Workbench, HDMI, Classic mouse and game controller and the release date will be in June 2026.

Walter multi-radio modem - C64 | This modem is based on the QuickSpot Walter module, which combines multiple radio technologies in a single module. This gives the Commodore C64 multi-radio modem access to Wi-Fi, BLE, LTE Cat-M1, LTE Cat-NB1/2 and GNSS. The module is powered and programmed with USB-C and connected to the Commodore C64 user port.

Paul Sajna - Smartphone + 1541 | Paul Sajna connected his smartphone with a Commodore 1541 disk drive. The phone is a Google Pixel 3 running Postmarket OS connected to an Arduino Pro Micro, configured with the XUM1541 firmware by [OpenBCM] to act as a translator. On the phone, the VICE emulator pretends to be a C64, and successfully loads Impossible Mission from an original diskette.

Jim 64 - Meshtastic 64 | Jim 64 developed a meshtastic radio that plugs directly into the user-port of a Commodore C64 computer. A meshtastic radio is an open source, decentralized, peer-to-peer, text messaging network designed for long-range mesh communication.

Jürgen Müller - 65F02 | Jürgen Müller developed the 65F02, which is a drop-in replacement for the 6502 CPU, but the clock speed is 100 MHz. The hardware is a Spartan-6 FPGA (with 64 kByte on-chip RAM), on a small circuit board which is just the size of a 40-pin dual inline package, with pins matching the 65C02 pinout.

Piers Finlayson - One ROM | Piers Finlayson has developed the One ROM. This is the most flexible ROM replacement for your retro computer. It is highly configurable and low-cost. Based on a Raspberry Pi RP2350 or STM32F4 microcontroller. One ROM emulates the 2364, 2332 and 2316 ROMs.

Depeche Modem - C64Keyboard | Depeche Modem developed the C64Keyboard, that makes it possible to use an original Commodore C64 keyboard as a USB keyboard for the VICE emulator. Holding down the Commodore and the CTRL keys for 250ms will activate or deactivate the joystick mode.

Bitluni - CDCTape | Bitluni has developed a mini version of the Commodore Datassette as a USB storage device. He uses microcassettes from a Dictaphone and a USB interface, but it can only store about 1 MB of files.

Martin Piper - C64MegaCart V2.0 | Martin Piper has developed the C64MegaCart V2.0 for the Commodore C64 computer. The 2 MB memory is arranged as 256 banks of 8 kB and can be erased and written by the C64. The printed circuit board can be ordered direct from PCBWay.

David Hunter - IEC RTC | David Hunter developed a Real Time Clock for his Commodore VIC20 computer. The project uses an Arduino Uno and a Dallas DS3231 RTC. The software uses an IEC driver from Lars Pontoppidan. Because this RTC is a device on the IEC-bus (12) you can also use this on the Commodore C64, C128 or Plus/4 computer.
