Tape loader tune competition 2014 | You can now compete in the Tape loader tune competition 2014. The aim of the music competition is simply to compose a tune which would be suitable to listen to when loading a game from tape or disk. The rules fort his competition: No covers or remixes, maximum playing time is 2 minutes and you can send in a maximum of three tunes. Visit the TND web page for all the details.

The Tree Angel 3SID | Hermit and Yogibear released a new SID for the Commodore C64. Yogibear made the music on his PC and Hermit converted the music to the Commodore C64. Graphical artist JSL made the picture.

Exploring the SID 8580 | Richard Atkinson has made a video about the Commodore SID chip. In the video he explains all the features from the SID chip. He uses a PC with an HardSID, a Behringer BCR2000 controller and a Yamaha V50 keyboard. The system is Richard Atkinson hat ein Video über den Commodore SID Chip gemacht. SID Known v1.08 | Wilfred Bos released an update of SID Known. This version is compatible with the latest HVSC (#61). SID Known is a tool which you can use to identify SID tunes from SID and PRG files.

CGSC v1.28 | The CGSC (Compute's Gazette Sid Collection) has had an update. The COMPUTE!'s Sidplayer was a music system, created by Craig Chamberlain and Harry Bratt, for the Commodore 64. The aim of the Compute's Gazette Sid Collection is to preserve as many of those Sidplayer music files in one location as possible. The current collection contains 13644 MUS, 4043 STR and 4737 WDS files.

HVTC | The HVTC or High Voltage TED Collection is an collection of music for the Commodore C16, 116 and the Plus/4. The files that are available, are the original programs that produce the music with the TED music chip. At the moment there are 391 files available in the database.

WebSID | Igorski started a new project that is called WebSID. With a modern browser you can now play the SID on-line. This virtual Commodore 64 is equipped with twin double octave keyboards, but note that the upper one plays arpeggiated chords. This are the limitations of the original C64, which gave it that characteristic sound.

Commodore 64 Mega SID quiz! | C64TV made a SID quiz. He made a video with 236 audio samples from various Commodore 64 games. Your task is to try and guess all of the tunes. A few examples of the tunes are: Uridium, Skate or Die, Donald Duck's Playground, Paradroid, Kung Fu Master, Fighter Pilot and many more.

Amiga Music Box 1 - Plus/4 | If you like Amiga tunes and Plus/4 demos, then you must listen to the Amiga Music Box. The demo contains two tunes by Spektro, that are converted from the Amiga to the Plus/4. Csabo made the software to play the tunes via the TED chip.
