His first computer was a Oric-1, but later he switched to a C64. He worked on the following games: Frostbyte, Equinox, Exolon, Beyond the Ice Palace, Vixen, Cybernoid, Cybernoid 2, Stormlord, Deliverance, Smash T.V., Supremacy, Dan Dare 3 and Time Machine. Bull Run lets you step into the shoes of the Union or Confederate commanders at the Battle of Bull Run, the first major battle of the American Civil War. Alex Goldblat interview | The web page C64.com has had an interview with Alex Goldblat (Dr.J). Alex was active in the scene between 1988 and 1992 as a member of The Gold, Hotshot, The Force and Delysid. Alex did cracking, swapping, import, cover designer and graphics. Petro Tyschtschenko interview | Robby from the web page MOS 6502 had an interview with Petro Tyschtschenko. Petro worked for Commodore and later became president of Amiga Technologies. Petro talks about his time with Commodore, Amiga, Escom and Gateway. Russel Comte interview | Russel Comte worked for Melbourne House. Russel worked on the following games: The Hobbit, Fist 2, Samurai Warrior: The Battles of Usagi Yojimbo, Rock'n Wrestle, Asterix and the Magic Cauldron, Bop'n Rumble (Street Hassle), Shadows of Mordor, Fighting Warrior and Sgt. He worked on C64 games such as the Young Ones and Mighty Bomb Jack.
Stuart Taylor was the musician in the group XESS from 1982 to 1986. He made his music with the help of the program Electrosound. He later replaced his Commodore C64 for the Commodore Amiga. Interview with Brian van de Peer | The Amiga Lore web page had an interview with Brian van de Peer. Brian talks about the game Son of Zeus for the Amiga. The team behind the game were: Mick, Brain and Tobias. Work on the game was started in the early nineties but it was never finished. At the moment only a Amiga Action cover disk demo exists. Brian Flanagan interview | Brian Flanagan worked ten years for Ocean Software in Manchester. He started work for Ocean in his school holidays. He worked on Operation Wolf and Operation Thunderbolt. Antony got into game programming at his school together with Ben Daglish, Nigel Merryman and Martyn Peverley. Thomas H Pedersen (Blitz) interview | Thomas H Pedersen also known as Blitz was active in the Commodore C64 scene from 1984 until 1991. Thomas was a member of many groups: Danish Duo, Danish Circle, Dominators, Illusion 2016, 2000 A.D. and Photon. Joe Bonar and Allan Shortt interview | Joe Bonar started his career at Telecomsoft and later worked for UBik, Simon Pick and Probe. Allan Shortt started as a computer games programmer in 1985. He worked for Ocean Software, Origin Systems, Malibu Interactive, Time Warner, Candle Light Studios and Platinum Interactive. The games he worked on are: Yie Ar Kung-Fu II, Mario Bros, Athena, Combat School, Arkanoid II - Revenge of Doh and Terra Cresta. Erlend Robaye (Rataplan) made graphics for Ziriax, Peter Verswyvelen (Chatterbox) did the programming of the game and Kim Goossens made graphics and animations. Mathew's first computer was a Sinclair, but he later used an Amiga 500. He started making games with the help of AMOS for the Amiga and DarkBASIC and Blitz Basic for the PC. Marc was the head of Ocean France, and kindly answers some questions about the company including why so many of their games were never released! Kristi Louise Herd interview | Kristi is a graphical artist and worked on many computer games from the year 1989 to 2002. She started her career at Imagitec Design and later worked for NMS Software, Revolution, Rockstar games and others.
